OBITUARY
SILAS ADAMS
Silas Adams, 77 years old, died of paralysis at his home in North Terre Haute Monday morning at 9 o'clock.
Born June 5, 1840, he was the son of Elliott and Merab (Hawkins) Adams. On August 7, 1859, he married Harriet Barnes. The widow and two sons, David and William, survive. He was preceded in death by a son, Leonard Adams.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, beginning at 9:30 o'clock at the North Terre Haute Baptist church and continuing at the Friendly Grove church. Burial will be made in the Adams Cemetery or Forks By The Creek cemetery.
