Iva Beshears, 83, Rt. 1, Nancy, died Thursday, May 26, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home after a six-week illness.
Born in Pulaski County October 16, 1899, she was the daughter of Luther and Vella Trimble Ard.
She married John Beshears January 25, 1917. Her husband survives.
Other survivors include four children, Bert Beshears of Nancy, Sylvia Correll of Frazer, Sethel Weaver of Somerset and Dean Norfleet of Miamisburg, Ohio; four brothers, Wirth Ard of Science Hill, O'Neal Ard of Somerset, Lenville Ard of Nancy and Luther Ard of Ft. Lupton, California; a sister, Grace Pierce of Somerset; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy York officiating.
Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
