KUNA--William Barker, 79, Kuna Route 2, died Wednesday night in a Boise nursing home. Robison Chapel of the Chimes of Meridian will announce services.

KUNA--Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday in Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, for William S. Barker, 79, Kuna Route 2, who died Wednesday in a Boise nursing home.

Interment will be in Meridian.

Born in Elba, Idaho, Dec. 30, 1884, he came to the Boise Valley in 1929 and lived in the Pleasant Valley area southeast of Kuna since 1930. He was a farmer and member of the LDS Church. His wife, Emily died in January, 1959.

He leaves two sons, Ivan, Boise, and Clifford, Kuna; a daughter, Mrs. Rosetta Balls, Hyde Park, Utah; four step-daughters, Mrs. Janet Hickman, Yakima; Mrs. Pearl Langley, Boise; Mrs. Della Ross, Spokane; Mrs. Myrtle Ross, address unknown; a stepson, Irving Howell, Las Vegas; a sister, Mrs. Nora Howell, Las Vegas; eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
