George Richard "Dick" Cornwell, 74, of The Plains, died Oct. 13 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born May 30, 1934, to Frederick L. Cornwell and Bethea Nesselrodt.
Mr. Cornwell is survived by his wife, Joyce Cornwell of The Plains; a son, George Richard "Dickie" Cornwell Jr., of Strasburg, Va.; and one grandchild.
He is also survived by a sister, Dixie Mae Friggins of Nebraska, and a brother, William F. "Bill" Cornwell of Warrenton.
