John and Margaret Steenburgh, Benjamin's probable parents
Summary: Although no specific document has been found to prove Benjamin's
parents, there are many clues to suggest they were John Steenburgh and
Margaret. Looking back at report #1, notice the deed (lease) record in the town
of Milton from Daniel Steenburgh to Benjaminin 1833, recorded 6 April 1836.
This is just 2 months after the death of John Steenburgh in Milton in 1836,
suggesting that Daniel(probably Benjamin's brother) leased the land to
Benjamin after John's death.
