He then served in Company A, 301st Battalion, Tank Corps to June 19, 1918.

He then served in the Headquarters Detachment, 301st Center Tank Company, Tank Corps to January 28, 1919.

He then served in Company B, 306th Battalion, Tank Corps to the time of his discharge from the Army.

He was promoted to the rank of Private 1st Class on February 19, 1918.

He was promoted to the rank of Corporal on November 18, 1918.

He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on December 6, 1918.

He served overseas from March 28, 1918 to March 18, 1919.

He received his discharge from the Army on May 6, 1919 at Camp Meade, Maryland.

He was originally from York, Pennsylvania.

He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on September 22, 1949.
