Mexican War Soldier. He was a member of the Union Free Congregational Church of Penn Yan. He was admitted on April 23, 1842 "on profession." He was excluded on August 16, 1843. He was a member of General Winfield Scott's army in Mexico and was mortally wounded at the Battle of Chapultepec in 1847.
