Abell Lemuel F was born in 1825 at Junius, Seneca County, N.Y. He graduated at Hamilton College and Jefferson Medical College. In 1857 he came to Kendallville, forming a partnership with Dr. Barber first and afterwards with Dr. Ballard. Interested at first in a drug store while practicing medicine, he finally devoted himself entirely to the drug business in which he continued until a year ago. He died July 17. He was married in 1873 to Louise E. Kinmount, who survives him with one son. ^ 7-29-1892
