Mabel F. Forringer, 90, of Kittanning, formerly of West Kittanning and Cowansville, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, in Armstrong County Health Center. She was born Jan. 15, 1918, in Big Run, a daughter of the late Melvin C. Stuchell and Laura (Haag) Stuchell. Mabel was retired as assistant post master at the Cowansville Post Office and also the distribution center at Butler Post Office. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Kittanning. She also ran the post office for the Boy Scout Jamboree at Moraine State Park in Butler. She loved playing bingo and cards. Mabel is survived by her two sons, John M. Forringer and his wife, June, of Jeannette, and Kenneth R. Forringer and his wife, Debra, of Sebring, Fla.; five grandchildren, Michael Forringer and his wife, Sue, Aaron Forringer and his wife, Kathy, Kevin Forringer and his wife, Vicki, Teresa Poole and her husband, Richard, and Letitia Forringer; and eight great-grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Haley, Lizzie, Merryanne and Katelyn Forringer and Connor and Emma Poole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Audley H. Forringer, who died in 1977; daughter, Nancy Forringer, who died in 1942; two sisters, Martha Johns and Cora Stuchell; and five brothers, George, Lex, Roy, Dean and Melvin "Jr." Stuchell. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Cowansville. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Union First Presbyterian Church, Cowansville, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church, with the Rev. David R.
