E. Val Liberace, M.D., 69, of West Chester, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at home.
He was the husband of Kathleen Liberace.
Born in Darby on Oct. 25, 1939, he was the son of the late Ettore V. Liberace and the late Stephanie Marks.
He was a 1957 graduate of Msr. Bonner High School, St. Joseph's University and the University of Pennsylvania Medical School.
He was a medical doctor.
In addition to his wife, he was the beloved father of Christopher Paul, Steven Patrick and Val Joseph; grandfather of Michael, Tristan, Sebastian and Hannah Liberace; and brother of Rita Eckhart.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Ss. Peter & Paul church, Boot Road, East Goshen, where friends may call after 9:15 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to The American Cancer Society, 1615 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382.
