WELLINGTON - L.B. Bratten, 93, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gene Weinette, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home.
Mr. Bratten was born July 12, 1916, in Wellington to Lucious and Oma Lee Brewer Bratten. He married Boneva Hammack on Aug. 30, 1936, in Butler, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Billy Wayne Bratten of Midwest City, Okla., and Stanley Bratten of Trophy Club; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church, 901 Bowie St., Wellington, TX 79095-3202; or a favorite charity.
