Also survived by five daughters and four sons-in-laws, Virginia Gayle & Roy Giliotti of Arkansas, Deborah Beatrice & James Williams, Leslie Ann & Tom Skinner, Robbie Kathryn Alden, and Barbara Jo & Jay Hawley, all of North Carolina; sisters, Betty Baker of Kentucky, Peggy Angley of Georgia, & Barbara Andrews of North Carolina; brothers, Kenneth Propst of Georgia, Richard Propst of North Carolina, & Phillip Propst of South Carolina; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence W. Propst, Sr. & Beatrice Howell Propst.
Mr. Propst was a graduate of Wofford College and member of the American Legion. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Interment followed funeral services conducted at the McGill Baptist Church, Concord, NC, on Saturday, December 8, 2007.
