Ida was the daughter of William H. and Mary E. Ingram. Her siblings were Claud C; Florence; Clyde; Bessie; Nola L; J.C; and Rose.
She grew up in and around the Non community where she met and married Woodrow "Woody" Wilson COATS. After his death, she lived in the Ada area.

ADA — Services for Ida Lucille Coats, 87, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at the
Missionary Baptist Church in Non. Burial follows at Non Cemetery.

Mrs. Coats died Sept. 26, 2003, at Ada. She was born Feb. 28, 1916, at
Stonewall to Will Ingram and Mary Sherfield Ingram. She was a member of Unity
Baptist Church in Ada and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She and Woodrow Wilson Coats were married September 1932 at Holdenville. They
made their home in Hughes County and owned and operated the local Drive Inn. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Dwayne Coats, Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Joyce
Underwood, Ada; two sisters, Nola Linton, Rose Linton, both of Calvin; three
granddaughters, Sharon Perdue, Tishomingo, Carol McClendon, Arpelar, Debra
Sanders, Ada; a grandson, Jason Coats, Arlington, Texas; seven great-
grandchildren; and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bearers are Gene Linton, Wes Linton, Steve Linton, Brad Linton, Gary Linton and
Perry Ingram.
