FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JENNIE ANDERSON, 81, HELD HERE MONDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Matilda Anderson, 81, who died last Friday at Carlton, were conducted Monday afternoon from Macy's memorial chapel by the Rev. Arthur Collins.
She was a native of Sweden, born there on Aug. 1, 1863. Her marriage to Joel Anderson took place in 1885. For over 50 years she had been a resident of Carlton and was a member of the Baptist church. Her husband, as well as a son and daughter, preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Walter of Carlton, William of Salem and Carl of Troutdale; two daughters, Mrs. Amelia Kidder of Carlton and Mrs. Troy E. Dirickson of Silverton; a brother, Charles Lundquist of Gresham, and a sister, Mrs. Nels Pearson of Carlton.
Burial was in the Carlton-Yamhill cemetery.
