C. H. SHERWIN, 83, DIES IN HANFORD

Chas. H. Sherwin, 83, a retired rancher, passed away last night at 11 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Morton Baker, 314 W. Ivy Street.
He was a native of Kansas and had resided in California for 50 years, the last four being spent in Hanford.
He is survived by two sons, George N. Sherwin of Los Banos and D.R. Sherwin of Wasco also four daughters, Mrs. Helen Benadom of Salinas, Mrs. Violet Johnson of Porterville, Mrs. Daisy Newbold of Coalinga and Mrs. Ruth Baker of Hanford. He is also survived by two brothers, Chamberlain Sherwin of Kansas and Anson Sherwin of Tulare and a sister Mrs. Lacy Eaton of Colorado.
