For more than fifty years, he exercised his apostolate in the US, serving many years as director in Metuchen, NJ; Baton Rouge, Mobile, and Natchez. Fabian was the first novice master at Metuchen and served there from 1902 to 1906. He served six years as provincial councilor from 1912 to 1919. Finally he held the position of treasurer at St. Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis, MS for thirty-three years.
A sincere religious, pious and faithful, Fabian was a joyful person during recreation. A model religious, "Pop" Fabian lived the life of a Brother in such as way so as to inspire other Brothers.
