Hazel's first husband was Jacob VanDyke, and with him she had three children, Paul, Ruth (Schreur) and Norma (Mulder).
She later married Leonard VanWieren.

FUNERAL RITES TUESDAY FOR MRS. VAN WIEREN
Funeral services have been set for Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Hazel Van Wieren, 60, of 430 Washington Ave., who died of a heart attack Saturday morning. The Rev. John Van Harn will officiate at the services at Notier-Ver Lee Langeland Chapel. Burial will be in the Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Surviving are one son, Paul Van Dyke of Holland; two daughters, Mrs. Ivan (Ruth) Schreur of Owosso, Mich., and Mrs. William (Norma) Mulder, Jr. of Holland; five grandchildren; four step-sons, Gerald Van Wieren of Grand Rapids, Robert and Raymond Van Wieren of Holland, and Kenneth Van Wieren of Chicago; two step-daughters, Mrs. Garry Grissen and Mrs. Arthur Bronson of Holland; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Hester) Klomparens of Holland; and three brothers, Dennis, Leon and Bernard Ende, all of Holland.
Relatives and friends may meet the family this evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Van Wieren was employed at Resthaven as a cook and suffered the heart attack while at work.
