Billy Wayne Towery, Sr., age 65, a native of Marks, MS and a longtime resident of Satsuma, AL died on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at his home. He was a retired mechanic at the Alabama State Docks. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Towery, 2 children, Wayne (Pam) Towery, Jr., Michael Towery, 4 grandchildren, Jordan, Jessica, Alex, Layton, 1 sister, Phyllis Griffin, 1 brother, Sammy (Judy) Towery, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 2 P.M. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
