MURNIE D. FULMER
ALDER CREEK -- Murnie D. Fulmer 82, of Alder Creek, died yesterday in Sunset Nursing and Maternity Hospital, Constableville, after a long illness.
He was born March 23, 1879, in North Steuben, son of David and Amanda Getman Fulmer. He attended North Steuben school and later was employed in the signal department of the New York Central Railroad. He worked for the railroad in Herkimer and later in Utica.
He married Ruth D. Dunn on March 14, 1914, in Lowell, with the Rev. Judson Davis, then pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. The couple moved to Alder Creek in 1930 and purchased the Jay Gantner farm which they had since operated.
Mr. Fulmer was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Boonville.
Besides his wife, he leaves several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 1:30 Friday from the Fulmer home with the Rev. Richard Jenks, pastor of the Boonville Christian Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lowell Cemetery.
