She graduated from the Traverse City High School; then spent one year at the University of Chicago; and finally spent three years in the study of music at Hope College, Holland, Michigan.
Ida married 23 June 1914 at Traverse City, Michigan to Lowell Maxwell Morse. Lowell was also a graduate of the Traverse City High School. Immediately after their marriage they went to make their home on a large ranch in Saskatchewan, Canada. Ida's widowed mother, Mrs. Eva Maria Larkins, joined them.
Ida Larkins Morse died 27 April 1916 near Dewdrop, Saskatchewan, Canada leaving a daughter, Elise Margaret born 27 April 1916.
