Cooper Review- January 1, 1998-Funeral services for Rev. Kenneth M. Gant, age 78, of Rice's Crossing, Texas, will be held at 2PM Wednesday, December 31, 1997 at the Klondike Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Thurman officiating. Burial will follow in the New Klondike Cemetery. Rev. Gant was born in Cooper, Texas on July 21, 1921 and passed away Sunday, December 28, 1997 at his home. Rev. Gant was a minister for over 51 years. He married Margaret Ferguson in 1943. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Gant. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Gant of Rice's Crossing; sons, Ernest Paul Gant of Rice's Crossing and David Wayne Gant of Crescent, Oklahoma; sisters, Verda L. Tatum and Jannis Peppin , both of Campbell; brothers, Sam Gant of Fort Worth, Bobby Gant of Cleburne and L.C. Gant of balch Springs.
