Mrs. Leamons Is Buried Saturday
(from the Junction Eagle)

Funeral services for Mrs. W. W. Leamons were held Saturday in Hodges Funeral Chapel with Marshall Davis, Church of Christ Minister from Taft, officiating.

Mary Ethel Honey was born May 20, 1911, in Newport, Ark.,and married W. W. Leamons there May 30, 1931. She died in her sleep sometime during Thursday night and was found dead Friday morning by a daughter. She told her family Thursday she was feeling ill and went to the doctor for a check-up.

The Leamons have lived here since 1933, with the exception of several years when Mr. Leamons was serving other churchs. They came back to Junction in 1945. Her husband is county judge of Kimble County and serves as pastor of Tenth Street Church of Christ.

Mrs. Leamons was a typical minister's wife. Modest and unassuming, she was diligent in the care and raising of her family while always assisting her husband in his pastoral duties and in caring for the sick and afflicted.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, John D. and Walter W., Jr. of Austin, and Ray Leamons of Junction; four daughters, Mrs. Curtis Borskey, El Paso, Mrs. Robert Turner, Alpine, and Mae and Patsy Leamons, Junction; her step-father, Andy Williamson; a half-brother, Andrew Williamson; two half-sisters, Mmes. Roy Howard and James Lancaster, all of Newport; and seven granchildren.

Pallbearers were Chester Bannowsky, Fred Phillips, C. G. Craig, Lewis Vickery, Harold Jacoby and Albert Andrews.
