William Buchanan England, age 75, of Montross, died on Sunday, July 7, 1996. Mr. England was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and the Providence Men's Club, and was an Army Veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Jenkins England; son, William Buchanan England, Jr. and his wife Donna Daiger England; granddaughters, Kinsey Dawn England, Kori Renee England, Amy Garnett Beddoo; and grandson, William Buchanan England, III. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Providence United Methodist Church, Chiltons. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Welch Funeral Home, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions to Montross Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 1174, Montross, VA 22520.
