Mr. Wininger was born, July 20, 1894, in Hartford, Sebastian County, Arkansas. He was the son of John and Cordelia (Genes) Wininger. He was a retired Oil Field worker and a veteran of World War I.
Services were held Tuesday, December 11 at 2 p.m. in the Atoka Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Pitts officiating. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ruby L. Curry, Atoka; three nieces, Mrs. Doyle St. John of Ballinger, Texas; Mrs. Margaret Courtney of Clovis, New Mexico; Mrs. George Garcia of Salt Lake City, Utah; two nephews, Olen Curry, Atoka; Jones N. Curry, Page, Arizona.
Pallbearers were members of the Masonic Lodge of which he was a member. Interment was in Durant Cemetery with Atoka Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
