Louise Elem, 88, of Dallas, formerly of Paris, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at
Doctor's Hospital in Dallas.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs
Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial follows in Detroit
Cemetery.
The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born July 27, 1916, in Honey Grove, to Mr. and Mrs. John Townsend. She
married James Wesley Elem on April 10, 1937, in Red River County. She worked for
the Merico Corporation prior to her retirement. She was a member of the United
Pentecostal Church of Paris.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by three children, Vicki Winkler and husband, Alan, of Dallas,
Dwayne Elem of Vacaville, Calif. and Bobby Wilson and wife, Donna, of Belgrade,
Maine; seven grandchildren, Elaine Grote and husband, Jeff, of Phoenix, Ariz.,
Kim Hagan of Carrollton, Deborah Elem of Columbia, Mo., Trenton Elem and Nicole
Oliver, both of Vacaville, Calif. and Danny Wilson and Diane Folsom, both of
Belgrade, Maine; nine great-grandchildren, Dominic, Aiden, Ashley, Jordan,
Amber, Jerry Ryan, Chris, Makayla and Meagan.
