Robert Lee Dontas was born on June 21, 1915, in Scofield, Utah, the first of four children born to Nicholas and Katherine Mary Gourdin Dontas. Robert married Virginia Dangerfield in 1942; divorced. Robert married Maxine Kingston. Robert died Tuesday, March 29, 1994, in Ogden, Utah. A 78-year-old Alzheimer's patient, Robert was reported missing from an Odgen nursing home. His body was found after he apparently drowned in a nearby pond.
