Mrs. Kirby was the sister of Letha Mullican, Lena Mullican Swindell, Laddies Mullican McCaghren, Annie E. Mullican, Mary Savannah Mullican Melvin, William Jasper Mullican, Ida Matilda Mullican Kirby and Emma Beatrice Mullican Pike.

MRS. LULA KIRBY PASSES AT HOME
Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Kirby, 47, who passed away Thursday evening at her home on Danville 3, will be held at three P.M. Friday at Johnson's Chapel with Rev. Walker Bynum officiating.
The deceased is survived by her husband, E. W. Kirby of Danville 3, five daughters, Mrs. Audrey Sams of Danville 3, Mrs. Berta May Cobb Danville 1, and Misses Sylvia, Gertie, and Nell Kirby, all of Danville 3; three sons, Azell Kirby of Danville 1, Edward Kirby, serving with the armed forces somewhere in North Africa, and Henry Kirby of Danville 3.
Pallbearers will be Walter Cooper, Bernis Long, Elmer Puckett, Frank Puckett, Clifford Puckett and Louie Rogers.
Interment will be made in the Johnson chapel cemetery, Peck directing.
