Sarah is the third child of Charles Barber Taylor and Martha Burrows.

Sarah married George Augustus Evans on February 2, 1918, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. The marriage was performed by James Maxwell, Bishop 27th Ward, with witnesses; James E. Woodard and Fannie May Woodard. [Source: FHL US/CAN Film 429,098, Book 73, License #29103]

"Mrs. Sarah H. Taylor Evans, wife of George A. Evans, died at the family residence, 1207 First avenue, at 9:30 p.m. Friday, following a lingering illness.

She was born in Salt Lake August 22, 1871, a daughter of Charles B. and Martha Burrows Taylor. Mrs. Evans had been an active worker in the twenty-seventh ward Relief Society, and had done much charity work.

Surviving are her husband and one sister, Mrs. James E. Woodard of Salt Lake."

Cause of death: Tuberculosis of Vertebrae
