"Mrs. Sarah H. Taylor Evans, wife of George A. Evans, died at the family residence, 1207 First avenue, at 9:30 p.m. Friday, following a lingering illness.
She was born in Salt Lake August 22, 1871, a daughter of Charles B. and Martha Burrows Taylor. Mrs. Evans had been an active worker in the twenty-seventh ward Relief Society, and had done much charity work.
Surviving are her husband and one sister, Mrs. James E. Woodard of Salt Lake."
