Phyllis Jane Best,79,Turkey City,died at 8pm. Sunday,May 26,2002,Clarion Hosp.Born May 14,1923,Turkey City,dau.of Joseph and Marie Baynham Myers.Mrs.best lived her entire life in Turkey City.She was a homemaker an a member of St.Mark United Church of Christ.Mrs.Best enjoyed gardening and visiting and traveling with family.She was married Sept.10,1949,to Woodrow Eugene Best,who survives. Mrs.Best is also survived by two daus.,Cathy Vinski and her husband,Jerome,Bridgewater,N.J.and Jane Foust and her husband,Rick,Homer City;four grandchildren,Eric Foust and his wife,Rhonda,Shippensburg,Katherine Foust,Homer City,Emma Vinski and Adam Vinski,both of Bridgewater,N.J.and a great-grandson,Noah Foust,Shippensburg.Also suriving are five brothers,Wm.Myers,Benjamin Myers and kenneth Myers all of Knox,Joseph Myers,Cedar Park,Texas and Donald Myers,Parker.In addition to her parents,Mrs.Best was preceded in death by a sister,Helen Dunkle.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev.Raymond Faulds officiating.
