30 Dec 1924-The Tribune, Altoona PA - DIED. MRS. MATILDA McCORMICK. Mrs. Matilda FUNK McCORMICK, widow of George Porter McCORMICK, died at 9:40 o'clock Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara WILLIAMS, 7316 Bennett street, Pittsburg. Mrs. McCORMICK resided in this city for many years making her home with a daughter, Mrs. R. M. CLARE, at 1632 Twentieth avenue, until Mrs. CLARE's death on November 2. The deceased was aged 69 years, a native of Duncansville, the daughter of the late James FUNK. Following her marriage to Mr. McCORMICK she resided in this city until a few months ago when she made her home with the daughter in Pittsburg. She is survived by the following children: Landis, Mrs. Clare W. WILLIAMS, at whose home she died, Samuel K., Charles B., George P., Ira and Arthur McCORMICK. She is also survived by four sisters, six brothers, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body will arrive in this city at noon and will be removed to the home of her son, Ira McCORMICK, 1806 Eighth avenue. Funeral services will be conducted at the son's home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
