Ada & her first husband Reinhold Heydner had to flee from Austria in 1938, because his brother was part of the Nazi SS and at that time you did not marry Jews. So they fled Austria. Rienhold eventually died in the same place as Andres' first wife in Sacramento, California. Then Andre & Ada got married.
