ROGERS — Janet Denise Sykes, 46, of Rogers passed away August 28, 2009 in Rogers. She was born July 9, 1963 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Lester & JoEtta Erwin.

She was a cosmetologist at Super Cuts and attended the New Hope Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Daryl Sykes, whom she married March 6, 2004 in Yukon, OK; two sons, Ryan Minyen and Jon Minyen and wife Elise, all of Moore, Ok; two stepsons, Daryl Sykes, Jr. and Joseph Sykes, both of Yukon, OK; a stepdaughter, Katie Dokes and husband Tyler of Yukon, Ok; and two grandchildren, Tyler Minyen of Moore, Ok and Cameron Dokes of Yukon, OK.

Visitation will be from 6pm - 8pm, today, September 1st at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N 4th St, Rogers.

Graveside services will be at 2pm, Wednesday, September 2nd at Bell Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, OK. Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home in downtown Rogers.
