Born May 4, 1929 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Leonard & Lillie Baxley, left this earth to be with the Lord on November 8, 2008 in Dallas, TX at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Juanita Irene (Gillispie) Baxley; children: Margaret & Alvin Sherrard, Jeanne & Garry Harred, and Debbie & Dave Carpenter; 8 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: Odell, T.J., and Larry; sister, Arlene Dollar. Arville was saved at the age of 14 and ordained as a Deacon at the age of 22, he served faithfully for over 50 years. He taught Sunday school for all of his adult life. He retired from Texas Paint & Wallpaper in 1983, and devoted full time to his passion for fishing and his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, & friend that will be greatly missed. Visitation for Arville will be held at the funeral home Monday, November 10, 2008 from 5-8. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with the interment to follow
