OND, Ira E. Age 75, of Hamilton, died Wednesday, October 5, 2005, at the Butler County Care Facility. Born in Robinson, Kentucky, on October 17, 1929, he was the son of the late Frank and Marybelle (Moore) Bond. On August 19, 1955, in Laurel County, Kentucky, Ira married M. Esther Mullins. He retired after 37 ½ years as a tow motor driver for Fisher Body on June 1, 1987. Ira was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the Middletown Sportsman's Club. Ira is survived by his wife of over 50 years, M. Esther Bond; son, Dennis Wayne Bond and his wife Sandra; two grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Bond and Rachel Noel Bond, all of Hamilton; sisters and brothers, Sally Mason of Orlando, Kentucky, Elmer Bond and his wife Luella of Richmond, Indiana, Lee Bond and his wife Wanda of Toledo, Ohio, Franklin D. Bond of Orlando, Kentucky, Billy Bond and his wife Patricia of Temperance, Michigan, Alene McGuire and her husband Virgil of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, and Lloyd Bond and his wife Sharon of Toledo, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Ira was also preceded in death by brothers, Floyd, Ross and Leonard Bond; and his sister, Ada Robinson. The funeral service will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton, at 2pm on Friday, October 7, 2005, with Pastor Michael J. Holmes and Mr. Karl Keith officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery with military services.
