Ivan S. Fisk, 37, of 41 Silver St., Norwich, a native of Cuyler, was killed in an accident Saturday near Norwich. Mr. Fisk was assisting in setting poles for a utility line when the boom of a hole boring machine struck a power line and
electrocuted him.
Mr. Fisk was an employee in Quentin Gorton Construction Company. He was formerly employed by the City of Norwich in the Street Department. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Andrew Berardi and Mrs. Fred Ingraham of Cortland, Mrs. Glen Bordwell of McGraw and Mrs. Ernest Moore of Almond.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Fahy Funeral Home, Norwich, the Rev. J. Harold Davies officiating.
Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery.
Friends may call this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
