Cleburne, Texas, Sept. 11 -- Mrs. N. B. Francis, pioneer of Cleburne and Johnson county, died last night at her home on North Main street. The funeral took place this morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. E. H. Lyle officiating, assisted by Rev. J. V. McCall of Hillsboro. Mrs. Francis was born in Tennessee in 1837 and came to Texas when she was 12 years of age. She moved to this county with her husband, Dr. C. C. Francis, in 1882. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. W. Summers of Rusk, Mrs. Sue Wilson of Beaumont, Mrs. Nettie Stone of Anson, Mrs. Carrie Hannon of Driskell, W. D. Francis of Cleburne, Mrs. Ora Bishop of Cleburne, Dr. Charles C. Francis of Alto.
