Funeral services were held in Lumsden United Church on Tuesday, April 8th, at 2 p.m. with Rev. J. S. Sangster of Lumsden, and Dr. S. A. Kennedy of Liberty officiating. The funeral was in charge of Speers Funeral Home and Burial was in Lumsden Cemetery.
Besides his wife, Mr. Carss is survived by two sons, Harold of Dawson Creek, B.C. and Gordon of Regina, two daughters, Isobel (Mrs. Howard Watson) of Edmonton and Mildred (Mrs. Robert Davidson of Windsor, Ont.) eight grandchildren, one brother, Fred of Armprior also survives.
