The only marriage we located in the Fayette Co. records for Jesse Scott in March 1841 was to Susannah Wilkins. The 1850 & 1860 census records show this Jesse and family in Harrison Township, Delaware County, Indiana. They had a son Joel born abt 1844. Between 1850 and 1860, they had a daughter (Mary) and another son (George).
