Joseph Jack McCullough

Jack was born May 1, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas to Ray and Maggie McCullough and passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in Dallas. He married his high school sweetheart, Frances Granberry, and served in the U.S. Navy on Guam during WWII.

Jack McCullough and Dorothy Frances Granberry were married on July 4, 1945 in San Antonio, Bexas County, Texas.

In 1958, Jack graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Industrial Technology. He worked in Risk Management for Chubb Insurance Company for over 20 years.

Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He is survived by his wife Fran; sons Mark and his wife Ann, and Mike and his wife Eva; grandchildren Corrin, Claire and Melinda; and great grandson Ryan Bracken.

Visitation will be at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home, Thursday evening 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2009 at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, at Lakeside Baptist Church of Dallas, Rev. Larry NeGron, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the MDS Foundation.
