PASCAGOULA -- Ellen Nastasia Daggett, 81, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998, in Pascagoula.

Miss Daggett was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Pascagoula and was a lifelong resident of the community. She was retired from Collie Towing Company as office manager after 50 years of employment. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star where she was Past Worthy Matron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Frocine Daggett; a brother, James E. Daggett; and a sister, Adeline Daggett.

Survivors include four sisters, Yvonne Williams of Gautier, Evelyn Habeeb and Melvina Warner, both of Pascagoula, and Olga Smith of Fairhope, Ala.; and a brother, William Daggett Jr. of Pascagoula.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Episcopal Church in Pascagoula where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Pascagoula. O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula is in charge of arrangements.
