Mrs. Bowers and her husband owned and operated a motel business in Basalt, Colo., for many years.
She was born Feb. 27, 1922, in Skiatook, Okla. She lived in Apache Junction, Ariz., from 1968 until she moved to Bullhead City, in 1996.
Mrs. Bowers was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge No. 1127 in Apache Junction, Ariz.
She married Charles E. Bowers, who died Sept. 2, 1978.
Survivors include two sons, W. Gene Bowers, Bullhead City, Ariz., and Glen Bowers, Gilbert, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Charlsia Finley, Topeka; a sister, Jean Robinson, Moore, Okla.; a brother, Lester Story, Del City, Okla.; and a half brother, Bob Bland, Oklahoma City.
Relatives and friends will meet from 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia.
