OBITUARY - DES MOINES TRIBUNE, March 24, 1982

ALBERT L. RUSSELL

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Church of the Open Bible for Albert L. Russell, 81, of 1019 E. Seventh St. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Russell died of a heart attack Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Born in Mahaska County, he lived in Des Moines 27 years. He also farmed in Monroe County.

Mr. Russell was a retired maintenance employee of the Des Moines Public Library and was a member of Calvary Church of the Open Bible.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Rowena Steinbach of Des Moines; three sons, Lawrence V., Roy David and Melvin R., all of Des Moines; a sister, Joyce Kampus of Des Moines; two brothers, Oscar of Newton, and Newton of Melrose Park, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that any memorials be made to Calvary Church of the Open bible.
