Shirley R. Otto, 72, of Duncansville passed away at her residence Saturday surrounded by her family.

She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Earl and Vivian (Chaplain) Albright. She married Thomas W. Otto May 29, 1959, in Altoona. He preceded her in death April 9, 2001.

She is survived by three daughters: Cathy Cochran and husband, Steve, Shirley A. Storm and husband, Sonny, and Mary Thon and husband, Paul; a son, David E. and wife, Lani; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Horne.

She was a 1955 graduate of Captain Jack High School, Mount Union.

She retired as a nurse's aide from Hollidaysburg Veterans Home in 1993 after 23 years of service.

She was a member of the Otelia Mennonite Church, Mount Union.

She enjoyed her family, reading and crocheting.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. today at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. by Pastor Jack A. Styer. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Home Nursing Hospice, P.O. Box 352, 201 Chestnut Ave., Altoona, PA 16603
