Bruce Wayne Jackson, 65, of Palm Coast passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Halifax Hospital. He was born on April 27, 1943 to the late Raynold H. and C. Joann Jackson (Doane). As a young man he served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. Bruce was a master electrician and belonged to a Masonic Lodge in Dixmont, Maine. In Old Town, Maine he and his wife owned and operated Jackson's Mobile Home Park and a lumber business in Edingburg, Maine. In 1981 he moved to the Palm Coast area from Old Town, Maine. Bruce enjoyed fishing, camping, taking walks on the beach and being with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Sanborn. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jeannette; sons, Michael and Harold Nason; daughter, Catherine and her husband, Tim Corliss; brothers, Raynold, Richard, William and Stephen Jackson; sister, Rita Freese; sister-in-law, Judy Gagnon and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was loved and respected by many for his kindness, understanding and patience. Bruce will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Interment of his cremated remains will take place at a later date in Jacksonville National Cemetery. Donations in his name may be made to the Flagler Humane Society, 1 Shelter Drive, Palm Coast, FL. 32137. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
