Jefferson was the son of Burrell J. and Mary E. Martin Bass.

He was one of eight children. The other children were: Harriet C., Martin C., John N., Mary E.J., Ellah E., Idellah R. and Oscar W. Bass.

He was the spouse of Isa Nora Armor Bass.

They had two sons, James Finis and Walter Ewing Bass.

Jefferson Davis Bass Succumbs Today At Moulton 2 Residence

MOULDTON -- Funeral services for Jefferson Davis Bass, 93, Moulton 2, will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at Wren. Mr. Bass, a retired farmer, died at his home this morning at 4:30 following an illness of three months.

Rev. Martin Banks and Kyle McWhorter will conduct the service. Interment will be in Montgomery Cemetery. Brown of Moulton will direct. Body will be returned to the residence this afternoon at 1:30.

Survivors include two sons, Finnis, Moulton 2, Walter, Moulton 2; one sister, Mrs. Emma Armor, Moulton 1; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Deceased was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be John, Clyde, Milton, and Tennis Bass, Paul Wiley and Frank Armor.
