William T. "Willie" Lempke (Noah) 76, passed away March 16, 2009 in Jacksonville, FL. Born in Easton, MD, he was a resident of Jacksonville since 1971. He served his county in the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict and retired from the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by his brother, Clarence D. Lempke of Easton, MD, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol L. Lempke; daughters, Sara P. Calhoun, Lisa C. Figanbaum and her children, Tyler Z. and Nicholas S. Langley; and Wendy Bligh and her children, Emma, Theresa, James, and Nicola Bligh; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Mr. Lempke will be laid to rest in Easton, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Community Hospice of NEFL or Beaches Unity.
