Charles A. McCallum, 84 of 810 Sedgwick St died Thursday in Port Huron Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Sep 30, 1892 in Lakeport and lived in the area most of his life.

Mr. McCallum was employed by Mueller Brass Co. more than 30 years. He was a retired member of Local 44 U.A.W.; the Quarter Century Club of Mueller Brass, and a World War I Veteran.

Mr. McCallum is survived by two sons E. Ker(n?)wood McCallum, Bay City and Milton C. Kerwood(misprint should be McCallum?), Los Angeles, CA; a daughter Mrs. Norma Jean Rayden, New Orleans, LA; four sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Filbert, Port Orange, FL; Blanche Reid, Westland; and Mrs. Ethel Miller and Mrs. Ada Miller both of Port Huron; and two brothers, Elgin McCallum, Flint, and Albert McCallum, Port Huron.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Herbert L. Griffith, North Street United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Remains are in the funeral home where visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
