They adopted twin baby girls from Greece and named them Margaret Louise and Patricia Louise, they then had a daughter of their own Victoria Gladys. Sam and Lois divorced, but remained friends until Spiros' death on 12 Nov 1987.

Born in Deposit, N.Y., she came here in 1976 from Farmingdale, N.Y. where she was in the restaurant and diner business. She attended St. Michael the Archangel Greek Orthodox Church. Survivors include a son, Richard D. Trimm of Cortland, NY; three daughters, Victoria G. Varkett of Merritt Island, Margaret L. Cottone of Shirley, N.Y., and Patricia L. Lazaros of Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, especially Harry R. Carson, Jr of Zion, IL, Eldred H. "Barry" Carson of Palmetto, FL, Marie Rodgers of Albuquerque, NM and John A. Aiello of West Hollywood, CA. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
