Esther Inez Bronson, a resident of Belmont, died Tuesday at the Belmont Convalescent Home following a long illness. She was 85.
A native of Montana, Mrs. Bronson lived in Fairfax before moving to Belmont five years ago.
She is survived by a niece, Bethel Walden of Belmont, two other nieces and a great nephew.
Her husband, Mr. Bertram B. Bronson died in 1959
At request of the deceased, no service will be held.
A private burial will be held Friday at the Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland.
