Mrs. Leslie was born at McKenzie, Tenn., on August 27, 1889. At the age of sixteen she was married to Boss Jackson of Tiptonville, Tenn., and to this union was born six children. Mr. Jackson died in January, 1926, and she then made her home in Southeast Missouri. On March 18, 1935, she was united in marriage to James Leslie and they moved to Caruthersville where they have since made their home.
Mrs. Leslie was a member of the Baptist Church of this city.
In addition to her husband, James Leslie, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Gallian; six sons, Joe, J.G., Willie, Hugh, Henry and Floyd Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Audie Brock and Mrs. Will Brantley; three brothers, Henry and Charles Evans, all of this city and Dr. Green Evans of Grand Saline, Tex., and ten grandchildren.
